There is nothing quite like a real fire to give that enduring warmth to your home and the Charnwood wood burning and multi fuel stoves do just that. Ultra efficient and incorporating the latest and best clean-burn technologies these stoves not only look great but will heat your home in a very efficient manner. Wood is a renewable fuel, and therefore the environmental benefits of using a wood burner to heat your house are considerable. With high prices of oil and gas, burning wood and solid fuel to heat your home also makes great economic sense. Charnwood leading ranges of Wood Burning & Multifuel Stoves all conform to EN 13240.
The ability of the Charnwood multi fuel stoves to burn both wood and solid fuels gives you flexibility when your first choice of fuel is not available. The Charnwood wood burning and multifuel stoves fall into the following ranges:
The Charnwood Tor & Tor Pico Stove Range

Five reasons to buy a Chesney's Wood Burning & Multi-Fuel Stove
Reliable - Chesney's Wood Burning & Multi-Fuel Stoves are designed to last. Using only the very best materials, including cast iron components produced in British foundries, the toughest ceramic glass and environmentally friendly recycled steel, Chesney's wood burning & multi-fuel stoves will provide a safe and dependable source of heat for years to come. Chesney's confidence in the product is reflected in the five year guarantee they offer for the bodies of their stoves and the one year guarantee they offer for all non-consumable body parts.
Efficient - Chesney's sophisticated manufacturing process uses state-of-the-art robotic welding techniques which ensure that every stove is tightly sealed. This means that the air supply to the stove can be easily controlled, reducing for a slow burn or opening up for an intense, roaring fire. Chesney's wood burning & multi-fuel stoves also incorporate the latest clean-burn and air-wash technology delivering maximum warmth and underpinning the outstanding efficiency rating that they have demonstrated in independent testing.
Clean - The clean-burn and air-wash technology which Chesney's wood burning & multi-fuel stoves use means that the polluting by-products emitted by the initial burning are re-ignited and burnt again in the stove. This double combustion substantially reduces emissions and contributes to a cleaner, healthier environment. All of Chesney's stoves are either approved for use in smoke control areas or are waiting formal approval following successful testing. This means that a Chesney's stove can be safely and legally used to burn logs in all major cities and towns throughout the UK.
Easy to use - One of the most important challenges facing Chesney's engineers was to design a stove that was genuinely easy to use. In addition to a simple fuel selector, a Chesney's stove is operated by means of a single air control lever. With its smooth operation, this lever allows easily controlled temperature adjustment from a gentle flame to an intense burn.
Attractive - Stoves have for too long just been viewed as utilitarian heating appliances with little emphasis on their appearance. The Chesney's collection of wood burning & multi-fuel stoves is beautifully designed to include both traditional and contemporary styles to suit a wide range of interiors.
A range of clean burning wood and coal multi-fuel stoves that combines state of the art engineering and clean burning efficiency with beautiful designs.
Heat and efficiency may be the most important considerations, but view of the fire must follow closely. Clearview Stoves have been designed with exceptionally large and strong glass windows that give an excellent view of the fire. Clearview’s fire-view has to be seen to be believed.
Unlike conventional stoves, the Clearview air distribution system means hours of clear fire viewing, without sooting or tarring of the stove windows.
Clearview burns mixed fuels, or just coal, without detracting from the wood-burning efficiency.

Lasting quality built through craftsmanship
We have specialised in stove manufacture since 1979. Over the years we have built an enviable reputation for the lasting quality, reliability and fuel efficiency of our products, by combining modern manufacturing technology and methods with traditional and highly skilled engineering expertise and craftsmanship. To ensure the highest standards, all our stoves are manufactured using cast iron components from carefully selected and monitored British foundries and the best quality steel plate, which has been prestressed to withstand extremes of temperature.
Designed, built and finished to withstand the extremes of temperature, all Villager woodburning models incorporate primary and secondary air vents along with the cleaner burning airwash system to help keep the glass clean.
The large cast iron doors have been designed specially for easy fuel loading whilst the glass panels ensure that you can enjoy the fire in complete safety and of course keep the fire burning overnight.
All Villager multifuel stoves, with the exception of the 'Puffin', incorporate the Villager advanced cleaner burning airwash system, combining highly efficient fuel combustion with an airflow system to help keep the glass clean. All Villager stoves are supplied with a factory fitted riddling grate apart from the Berkley, which has a static grate.
The Villager range of multifuel stoves has been designed for use with a wide variety of manufactured and natural fuels.
The ISOKERN Wood Stove Chimney System is ideal for stoves and for all fuels – oil, gas, wood and other solid fuels. The key to the stove system is the support block which allows the outlet from the stove to be easily connected to the chimney. The diagrams here show the outlet pipe from the top of the stove but the system will work equally well with a back venting stove pipe.
